About the Journal
The Utrecht Journal of International and European Law (previously Merkourios) is a diamond open access, double-blind peer-reviewed, student-led law journal affiliated with Utrecht University, focusing on international and European law.
Founded in 1981, the journal aims to contribute to legal scholarship on international and European law by promoting these fields' progressive development and providing an international forum for interaction between academia, practitioners and students.
