About the Journal
Politics of the Low Countries (PLC) is a peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on political developments in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. As the official journal of the Benelux political science associations, it publishes high-quality research across all subfields of political science, with a regional emphasis on the Low Countries. In addition to original research articles, PLC features special issues, research notes, literature reviews, and dedicated sections for PhD reviews and for opinion pieces on the profession of political scientist. PLC aims to advance understanding of Benelux politics and to contribute to both academic and societal debates.
